Introducing

Glass Fusing is the process of melting two or more layers of glass in a kiln.  The result is a single piece of glass that can be used for coasters, trivets, plates, bowls, and vases.

We have just added to our classroom the Glass Fusing Center that will make melting glass fun for anyone that comes into the shop.  This is a "walk-in and create" system for any age crafter regardless of previous glass skills.

Here's how it works

  • After a brief orientation class, you may return any time during business hours to work on projects.

  • Select a base: coasters, trivets, vases, plates, bowls, even cabachons for jewelry.

  • Choose your colors and designs:  we have many colors to choose from and an idea book to inspire you.

  • Arrange and glue the cut pieces on the glass bases.

  • Leave your piece here to be fused in our kiln and ready to pick up in 3-7 days.

The cost depends on the size of the projects and includes the glass, use of materials & tools, and one firing.  Prices range from $10 for a 4 inch project to $56 for a 12 inch project.  Dichroic glass and other "goodies" are available for an additional fee.

We Do Parties!

We will be happy to design a private party or event focusing around creating beautiful art glass projects.  What a great way for the girls to get together!  Or do parent & child projects for Christmas gifts, or an activity for church and charitable groups.  Call us for more details (386-738-1008).

Kiln Time

Assemble your project at home and bring it in to be fired.
Price depends on the size of your project:
$50 for single project in large kiln;
$25 if shared with another project.
Small projects may be fired in the Hot Box for $25.
